We are dedicating ourselves to the enormous task of creating a new Africa of value and culture whose destiny lies in her own people.
Do It Right Africa initiative, DIRA was formed by few Africans in the year 2007 and it was then called, Do It Right Africa, DIRAi. Among our people who are working tirelessly for the establishment of DIRAi across Africa are DIRA (Comrade) Tunde Doherty, DIRA (Cllr.) Machie Sheik, DIRA(Dr) Wale Lasisi, DIRA Anna Waniiye P'Openyto, DIRA (Dr) Temitope Aladesanmi, DIRA(Dr) Muftau Yekeen, DIRA Seye Ogunrotimi, DIRA Nichola Muyobo, DIRA Sandra Forson, DIRA Ibrahim Shomade and DIRA Tayo Siyanbola just to mention but a few. These Africans deliberate regularly on how to find a gradual and collective solution to humanitarian & hydra-headed problems facing our people due to many decades of self neglects and bad governance. Africa once known for its rich cultural heritage and high moral values has reduced itself to a mere shadow of what used to be its glory.
At Do It Right Africa Initiative,we are building pillars with a collective participation of positive-minded people. We share our organisational model with our members because of the urgent need to replant genuine seeds of decency in every part of Africa. Many thanks to all our members who have introduced their friends & families in expression of their faith in our collective efforts to rescue Africa. DIRAi's team building and resource selection model allows everyone with the right skills and experience to join us because of who we are and the course we pursue as a team.
Our Journey to set up the very first self-sufficient African non-governmental organisation with strictly transparent and disciplinary processes to keep members, ambassadors, volunteers, donors and partners in check cannot but be complex and time consuming. We shall continually ensure credible mobilisation of decent and trustworthy individuals whose passion for an ideal society burns with unrivaled sincerity to make our dreams come true.
We rely upon those who create time within their tight schedules to work on as volunteers to support the core foundation of DIRAi in difficult times. This is the strongest expression of faith that I have ever seen among our people and generations to come will see that our true heroes did not work and die in vain. The likes of Chief Gani Fawehinmi SAN, Dr Stella Adadevoh, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Chief Bola Ige SAN, Chief Anthony Enahoro, Dr. Tai Solarin, Mr Dele Giwa, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, Chief Funsho Williams, Alhaji Maitama Sule, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Pa Alfred Rewane will surely rest in peace because you have chosen to stand with ordinary people in your respective communities by starting with DIRAi.
This is the real audacity of hope, the power of a collective belief in our inner self and re-vibration of the dream of our grandfathers, a genuine self-determination in an unprecedented form; that men and women of good intentions from different parts of our country will come together to work for the good of our nation.
We operate a highly secured database of registered members for confidential and data protection purposes. Our members are all ambassadors and we address ourselves with prefix “DIRA” to our names as a reminder of who we are, promoters of decency by example wherever we find ourselves.
Although, imperfection is part of human nature, DIRAi has put in place trainings and public enlightenment programmes to educate our people and reiterate our policies. We have set-up fair processes to reward and discipline members, to appeal against actions perceived to be unfair to our members and finally processes of readmission for apologetic suspended or excommunicated members.
Finally, if our collective strategy appeals you or your organisation, kindly join us today. You can build a career with DIRAi as a registered member and also gainfully engaged by us because the work in DIRAi requires all hands-on deck to achieve our collective objectives.
Thank you once again for visiting our website. We look forward to working with you to reposition Africa and Caribbean in
the interest all.
Yours Sincerely,
